Mike Robinson is Chief Executive of the Royal Scottish Geographical Society.   He has delivered around fifteen large capital projects in the past twenty years, most recently as Development Manager for RBGE in delivering the John Hope Gateway at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh and completing a renovation and redesign of the Fair Maid's House in Perth - both completed to budget and timescale.  

He holds a large number of voluntary roles, with particular expertise in project management, fund-raising, renewable energy and environmental issues and is a keen sportsman.  As well as chairing the PH2O project board, he is also the Chairman of Live Active Leisure's Board of Directors.

He earned his first caps for Scotland in 2013 playing for the men's over 45 squash team in Dublin, and is a keen mountaineer, skier, swimmer, runner and cyclist.   He has three sons who are all active, mostly in judo, swimming and gymnastics.
